Two-storey detached house in the Maresme region, consisting of a reinforced concrete basement that supports the main floor with a mixed CLT cross-laminated timber structure in walls and floors and glued laminated timber beams on the roof.
VETA’s scope in this project ranges from the calculation of the timber structure in the project phase to the final design of each timber element during the manufacturing and assembly stages. This allows us to design each wall and connection to the millimetre, maximising the performance of the CNC numerical control in the factory and obtaining all the advantages of industrialised dry construction systems.
Thanks to the 3D BIM model, which was fully developed prior to the construction site, and the logistical management and technical coordination with the assembly team, the complete assembly of the wooden structure was completed in less than a week of work on site.
